Goring on Thames Antique Village Watercolour by Frederick G. Coulridge 1840-1925

A lovely study in the height of summer depicting the village church, various buildings and a boathouse. There is a small steam barge chugging its way towards the landing dock and a family of ducks in the foreground enjoying the pleasant weather.

Signed lower right, presented within a glazed gilt frame with double mount. Description in pencil verso, along with two old auction lot numbers dating I believe to before the war. There are a few tiny restored spots to this study which have been professionally attended to.
