Description

A beautiful antique Georgian period inlaid mahogany chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790-1810 period.

It is of fantastic quality and is a useful size, with plenty of storage space inside the deep and generous drawers. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, there are stunning inlaid satin wood shell designs on all the corners, which give a lovely contrasting effect.

We have had this stripped and re-polished, the condition is very good for its age. There are various old signs of wear here and there remaining beneath the polish, commensurate for the age of a piece that is over two hundred years old.
