A quick glance at it is enough to make one happy. The colours are all delightful, from the background in subtle hues of terracotta, to the edible light blues, greens, yellows and sapphire blue. All the colours are spot-on in terms of dyeing technique and their combinations. Add to that the delightful drawing of the 'Harshang' design in the field, a repeat pattern of angular palmettes in different sizes and shades with other scattered stylised floral ornaments, and you have a seriously attractive carpet. The lovely sapphire blue border frames the field beautifully and is decorated with a repeating stylised floral design.
