A lovely antique Heriz carpet in a hard to find small carpet size, woven circa 1920. The design features a large geometrical medallion on a rich terracotta field surrounded by a classic deep indigo border. Very attractive secondary colours of pinks and golds and a highly decorative carpet.
Size: 2.88m x 2.10m (9ft 5in x 6ft 11in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a couple of small areas (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
