This is a beautiful antique Chinese (Qing) botanical watercolour dating from the mid 19th Century. The well executed painting depicts butterfles surrounded by native flora. The watercolour is in stunning bold gouache colours on pith and is presented in a neat gilt frame with a soft rapberry mount. It is in good condition and measures 18 cms by 26 cms.

The picture measures 36 cms by 28 cms overall including the frame.
