This is a really fabulous 18th century provincial oak chest of drawers. It is solid quarter cut oak throughout with a wonderful and original patina. It has the unusual configuration of two short over four long drawers. With thistle embossed brass handles.
One handle has been replaced at the bottom at some point and there is some wear to several, as an be seen in the photographs, but they all work perfectly.
