Desired Effect Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1850s.
Both back legs stamped with the makers mark and one leg with the journeyman's name 'C CULVER'. All legs retain the original brass casters.
Structurally in good solid order and retaining the original buttoned back and arm upholstery. The seat also retains the original fillings that have been reworked previously with new hessian.
