Description

Still life flower painting, a floral impressionist Oil on canvass by Italian artist Giuseppe Cavasanti he attended Alberta Academy under the guidance of Giacomo Grosso.

This fabulous still life in original white and gilt frame signed by the artist and also G Cavasanti engraved on the brass plaque.

Frame size 110cm tall x 60cm wide 15cm deep.

The impressionist artist Giuseppe Cavasanti has used lively strong colours in this very fine still life floral interior scene flowers in a glass vase next to a book in the foreground and a painting hangs on the wall in the background.

Giuseppe Cavasanti (Alessandria, 1895- Savona, 1980) Italian painter, coming from a noble family, attended Alberta Academy in Turin with profit, under the guidance of Giacomo Grosso.

After completing his studies at the Alberta Academy in Turin, he participated in numerous collective exhibitions and still life, producing above all portraits of evident nineteenth-century derivation with a festively breezy technique, associating a decorative search for external beauty in his portrait models. A. M. COMANDUCCI Italian painters of the nineteenth century of 1935 page 133 of 1945 page of 1960 page H. Wollmer Kunstlerlex 1 volume 1953 Page 409 Copy of Camanducci of 1963 1volume Giuseppe Cavasanti di Cuccaro born in Valmadonna in January 1895, He attended 1 Acadmia Albertina. He exhibited his first work at the Self-Portrait Exhibition at the Amici dell Art in Turin. It deals particularly with portrait and flowers. His works appear in Palazzo Moschini in Mantua, in Naples, Genoa and Milan. Among his most recent works are I1 portrait of Admiral Count Cagni of Bumeliana , The Pilgrim Child of Genoa, The decorations and frescoes in the halls of Senator Celesia of Vegliasc ,
