Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Oyster veneering is a decorative technique involving slicing branch wood transversely to produce circular or oval patterns resembling oyster shells, popular during the late 17th and early 18th centuries.

These pieces typically utilized native hardwoods such as walnut, oak, and pine for secondary framing, combined with intricate veneering and brass hardware.

Authenticity is determined by hand-cut dovetails, traditional timber shrinkage, period-correct brass drop handles, and hand-applied finishes showing natural oxidisation.

Pairing historical timber furniture with clean-walled modern spaces creates a curated focal point that balances traditional craftsmanship with minimalist design.

Maintain stable humidity levels, avoid direct sunlight, and clean only with a dry, soft cloth, occasionally applying quality beeswax rather than modern silicone polishes.
