Description

Exceptional Arts and Crafts solid Yew Wood chest of drawers; in the manner of Edward Barnsley of outstanding quality with a lovely honey colour and neat proportions; the well figured solid yew top above the unusual drawer formation of 6 long graduating drawers retaining original yew 'pinched in' handles. Having exceptional quality oak drawer lining being panelled and expansion slots to the rear. Both sides of the chest in well figured solid yew wood. The base with a simple narrow moulding above a straight apron raised on square tapering feet.
