Description

This is an excellent taxidermy dome showcasing two beautiful Jay bird specimen in absolutely pristine condition dating from the late Victorian era circa 1890. The glass dome is in perfect condition, adorned with gold rope twist above the gilded oval base which is raised on gilt ball feet. The Jay are impressively displayed on a faux rock surface in a naturalistic setting and their pose highlights the real character of the birds.

The dome measures 45 cms high by 35 cms wide by 29 cms deep.
