Chase Hattan Watches has dated this piece to the 1960s.
An incredibly rare and charming example of a 1960s Breitling Chronograph Genève, model Ref. 1191, offered here with its original box, papers, and purchase receipt—a true collector’s dream.

This vintage chronograph boasts a 36mm stainless steel case with gold plating, a common style for the period. While some wear to the gold plating is evident (as expected for its age), the watch remains in remarkably good overall condition with nothing detracting from its vintage appeal.

The silver dial remains clean and well-preserved, with gold-tone baton hour markers and matching hands, completing the warm vintage aesthetic. The Breitling-signed crown and original-style pushers reinforce its authenticity and originality.

Chronograph functions operate as intended, and the watch is keeping good time. A service can be arranged upon request, though the current running condition is solid.
This piece is paired with a generic black leather strap and gold-plated buckle for a vintage look that complements the watch’s heritage.
