French Antique Warehouse has dated this piece to the Before 1700 period.
Skilfully carved head and mitre, with lovely flow to the robes.

Crozier, or crook, loose in one hand, so that it can be removed.
Holding a casket in the other hand.
Large iron bracket embedded into the back recess, allowing attachment to a wall.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use.
That hand has some movement in the wrist. The crook has some signs of glue at several joints.
