Here we have a large Jacobus Theodorus Abels (Dutch 1803-66), large moonlit river scene, oil on canvas, signed to bottom right, the scene with mill and horse, and trees, framed in an ornate 19th century gilt frame. Canvas 49cm high x 56.5cm wide, frame 78cm high x 89cm wide, small losses to frame but painting in good order, would benefit from a clean.
