A charming antique early 19th century mahogany chest of drawers The chest is constructed from solid mahogany with a warm patina that highlights the natural grain of the wood. It consists of two short drawers at the top over three graduated long drawers beneath, offering ample storage space.

Each drawer front is adorned with delicate inlaid stringing around the borders, adding a subtle decorative detail. The drawers are fitted with brass escutcheons and decorative brass swing handles mounted on ornate backplates. Raised on bracket feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with some signs of age. The piece shows surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. There is some loss and splitting to the top, as well as staining on the front of the drawers. These imperfections add to the character of the piece but do not impact its overall integrity.
