The piece combines steel and brass, displaying silver and gold colours across the metallic surfaces. Two detailed lion sculptures sit couchant upon decorated pedestals at either end, connected by a central brass rail that runs horizontally across the structure. The design incorporates a long plinth base finished in silver-toned steel, with ornate golden scrollwork and relief ornamentation decorating the front of each pedestal base, alongside a small central brass fixture mounted on the rail.
