A rich coloured antique Bidjar carpet with a good thick pile. A very durable carpet with a classical Persian old repeating diamond design. A rare and unusual pattern for Bidjar weavers, who often preferred more geometric designs and large scale floral motifs. Woven with deep red/orange tone, gold/yellow subtle dyes and deep intense royal blues. A fabulous decorative antique carpet from the late 19th century.
