She stands proudly in a stable environment, juxtaposed with the mischievous terrier, who is seemingly desperate for attention.
Little is known about the artist, but it’s similar to a piece by Henry Yarwood, so perhaps ‘R F Henderson’ is a pseudonym.
Signed in the bottom left and held in a later frame.
