A late 19th-century oak dressing chest by George Walton, a key figure in the Glasgow School’s Arts and Crafts movement. The design features a three-quarter gallery with a central tilting mirror, flanked by twin supports with shaped details. The arrangement includes two deep drawers, two shallow short drawers, and two long graduated drawers, all fitted with copper-backed cut-out handles. The base is gently curved, echoing the elegant simplicity of Walton’s designs.
