The Rolex Oyster Precision 6426, there are many example''s of this model from Rolex but few are of this configuration and this early. Dated by the serial number to the 1950''s this watch has been well looked after over the years as we can see that from the servicing marks to the inside of the case back.
34mm stainless steel case with smooth bezel and Rolex signed crown. This watch is all about the dial, white / silver colour that has naturally aged and discoloured in places to give a wonderful patina. Silver hands and silver Dauphin style hour markers.
In fine working order having passed through our workshop, condition wise we have given a gentle hand polish but left overall so there will be minor marks and scratches in places. Plexiglass replaced due to split.
Manual wind 1225 caliber movement giving a power reserve of up to 40 hours.
Fitted to a US market Rolex Jubilee bracelet with double ...fold clasp to fit a wrist to 8 inches.
The serial number gives a production year of either 1953, 57 or 58 so we can not be sure on the exact year.
Our in house watchmaker personally inspects every watch & only once a watch meets our high inspection standards is it ready for sale, All watches are sold with a 12 month guarantee.
