The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Revue Thommen stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Syren, a brand name registered by Revue Thommen.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Birmingham 1923 inside both of the hinged case backs. The case is in good condition, just a little gentle unevenness to the back.

The glass lens has a couple of very minor marks, not too noticeable at all.
The dial looks good to the naked eye, with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. If viewed through a magnifying loupe, there is a short faint hairline by number 9.

The watch comes with a single antique silver watch chain with a silver and enamel Surrey Football fob.
The chain measures 33cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar, clasp and individual links are all stamped for silver although the date letters are illegible.
The fob is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905, awarded by Surrey County Football Association to the Junior League Winners 1905-6. The chain weighs 66g.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
