A lovely antique Karadja rug, handwoven circa 1920 with a geometrical 3 medallion design on a rich terracotta field and deep indigo border. Fabulous secondary colours including golds, greens and blues - a very decorative rug.
Size: 1.48m x 1.00m (4ft 10in x 3ft 4in)
This rug has medium, age related wear, slightly heavier in a small area of the field (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
