A fabulous antique Ferahan rug, woven circa 1910. The rug features a scrolling Mustafi design of interconnected flowers and vines on a deep indigo field surrounded by an elegant terracotta border. Finely woven with fabulous wool quality and great secondary colours including pinks, greens and golds
Size: 1.98m x 1.35m (6ft 6in x 4ft 5in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, very slightly heavier in a couple of tiny places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
