Description

This is a really warm and rich antique Heriz carpet woven around 1900-1910 with the most beautiful colours.  With a rich palette of dyes, natural indigo blue, gorgeous greens, pale blues and golds on a warm pinkish red background.  Crisply drawn and woven by expert weavers over 110 years ago.  Condition is exceptional, the wool pile is fine and is lovely all over.   A hard to find, small size antique Heriz carpet, which is finely woven and full of charm.

It is getting increasingly rare to find antique Persian Heriz carpets of this high quality in such original condition.  Ideal for a drawing room, dining room, study or entrance hall, included in the price is our sturdy underlay, helping sit safely and flat on any floor type, enhancing its appearance too.
