Size: 5ft 10in x 4ft 2in (179 x 128cm).

Antique Anatolian Kayseri pictorial silk rug with 'hunting' design.

Circa 1890.

A beautiful rug or wall hanging, silk on a 'Manchester' cotton foundation.

Outstanding drawing and design with wonderful old colours, the rug has a small central medallion and the filed is covered with flowering plants, there are many different animals among the plants.

Good condition, even wear and some corrosion with low pile.

Ideal to be used as a wall hanging or for floor use with very light use.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.
