A fabulous antique Heriz rug, woven circa 1900 in a difficult to find small size. The design, reminiscent of Karadja rugs, features 3 geometrical medallions on a rich terracotta field surrounded by an indigo border. Lovely secondary colours including a particularly attractive sky blue in the medallions.
Size: 1.37m x 1.07m (4ft 6in x 3ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
