A lovely antique Tibetan meditation rug, woven in the early 20th Century. The rug features a floral medallion on a deep red field surrounded by an interesting key border. It would likely have been used by monks for meditation in a Tibetan temple.
Size: 0.63m x 0.53m (2ft 1in x 1ft 9in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
