The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a calibre 586K 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the name Tavannes. The Tavannes Watch Company used the brand name Cyma for some of their watches.

The watch is a very good wearable size at 37mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is plated, there is wear and marking commensurate with its age. The stainless steel case back is signed with the Cyma C logo to outside and the Cyma logo to the inside.

The lens is in lovely condition (some reflection on the lens).
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands. There is some freckling across the dial but it has the most charming appearance.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
