Antique Regency Mahogany Dressing Table C1820

Antique REGENCY mahogany Dressing Table and dating from around 1820. constructed from quality Mahogany it has its original shield shaped mirror ( with some slight foxing) set within a mahogany frame with fine stringing and with brass finial to the top and brass finials to the side supports with brass adjustable knobs. This leads to a gallery back and sides with central supports to the table top which has cross banded and fine stringing to the edges. There are two oak lined drawers to the front both with original brass handles and fine stringing. It is raised on squared tapering and strung legs with with inlaid oval to the top.

MEASURES: 64” HIGH TO MIRROR X 31” HIGH TO TABLE TOP X 21” DEEP X 38” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
