Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded and shaped top rail to the headboard with deep scrollwork to each end and above two mahogany panels. The footboard also with deep moulded edge to the top rail with scroll work to each end and leading down to each side. This is above a cross banded deep frieze and with a large carved panel to the centre of the footboard of lyre and trumpet swags and flora. It is raised on short cabriole legs joined by a shaped frieze.
