A Rare Large 6 Drawer Satinwood Edwardian Chest of Drawers Wax/paint

This chest of drawers is in good condition. We have professionally stripped it chemically and restored it ready for you to either paint or wax.

We can wax this for you in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina. Please contact us if you would like this done. Or we could deliver this to a french polisher of your choice in your local town to be polished.

This chest of drawers would look well in an old or modern property in any large bedroom for any type of storage purpose amongst similar antique pine furniture.

This chest stands on a scrolled plinth supporting the main section. There are two smaller drawers over four large drawers. The drawers have original metal drop handles. All of the drawers are mahogany lined and have dovetail joints. All of the drawers run smoothly. The top is in good condition with a bull nosed edge.

The height is 137cm, the width is 122cm and the depth is 61cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries to Scotland as far north as Perth are guaranteed within 6 weeks of purchase. If delivery is required above Perth in Scotland please contact James on 07957 392 074 or

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
