A Large Victorian Eye Catching Double Portrait Painting of Two Pretty Sisters

Description

A Large high quality eye catching double portrait of two pretty sisters, sitting in a garden with flowers in a Hat.

The Older sister sat with her right arm draped over her Younger sisters shoulder in a loving embrace.

The two girls have wonderful poise and are dressed in all white.

The style, subject and composition is of the style of Singer Sargent.

The Oil on Board painting is dated 1850 and signed with an unidentified initial that looks like P.C.

This is a large Piece and presented in a very ornate Oval frame.

The Frame Size (89 x 66cm) 35" x 26" Painting Size: (51 x 40.5cm) 20" x 16"

The condition is very good and has been well preserved behind glass

The frame is also in fine condition and ready to display.
