An antique kayak caucasian, handwoven rug, approximately 4''2'' x 2''8'', dating from the late c.19th. This rug with red field of birds and lowers with hooked medallion centre, surrounded by repeating borders. A hand knotted pile rug with fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

This rug measures approximately 127 cm long including fringes, and 81.5 cm wide.
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in fair condition, commensurate with its age. Wear to the pile, through to the foundations in places. One very small hole. Some losses to the ends, and fraying to the side edges. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Well used, but full of charm. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
