Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in October 1938, Louizor displayed his prodigious talent from a young age. At just 13, he joined the esteemed Centre d'Art and refined his skills under the guidance of Wilmino Domond. Continuing his artistic education at the Academie des Beaux-Arts, Louizor studied with the renowned artist George Ramponeau.

Regarded as the Caribbean's leading impressionist painter, Louizor's compositions breathe life onto the canvas.
