1930’s Teak Loughborough College Wardrobe Chest Combination

Made in superb solid teak wood that has been specially chosen for its more interesting grained timber. Made in the thirties to a great design that combines a wardrobe hanging space along with a chest of five, graduating drawers that all have lovely solid rosewood handles. Decorative exposed dovetailing to the edges and inside the hanging space is a handmade wooden hanging rail with a lower storage shelf. In superb condition, in the original finish and a beautiful colour. Teak wood, like camphor, has a light scent that deters moths. English and dating to around 1930.

Made in the thirties to a great design that combines a wardrobe hanging space along with a chest of five, graduating drawers that all have lovely solid rosewood handles.
