The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 19.4, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number dates it back to 1957.
The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The case is in very nice condition and is free from any personal inscriptions. Plain winding crown.

The lens is in lovely condition (some white reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial is in its original finish, some very light marking but hardly worth a mention. Original hands.
The watch has a brown leather Longines strap with the Longines wings logo to the buckle.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
NB: Where we have specified a year of manufacture, this is based on hallmarks or serial numbers with published databases. The 'date of manufacture' given by SellingAntiques will vary slightly as the website only works to decades, not specific years.
