Antique Afghan village rug of interesting Turkmen inspired design, the rug is of a pleasing abrashed warm red colour with indigo blue and ivory, the overall palette is very soft and warm. The wool has a wonderful lustre and is very soft.

Circa 1920.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile. The rug is of a very useful narrow size. There is slight wear in places to the side bindings.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
