Victorian Burr Walnut Chest of Drawers

Description

A superb quality and very handsome Victorian burr walnut chest of drawers of country house proportions, circa 1870-1880.

This beautiful quality chest has two short over four long graduated drawers (complete with original paper lining) standing on a curved plinth and bun feet. Original Cope and Collinson locks.

In superb showroom condition, fully repolished to the highest of standards

A superb example of a burr walnut chest; a beautiful colour and figuring which the photographs do not do justice. Additional photographs available upon request.

Measured at the top the width is 44 inches

The width of the main carcass is 42 inches.

The width at the base is 43 inches

The height is 52.75 inches

The max depth of the top is 22 inches

The depth of the main carcass is 20.75 not including the protrusion of the handles.
