Georgian serpentine mahogany plum pudding chest of drawers. The term (Plum Pudding) has been used in the trade ever since I can remember, the term refers to the most unusual grain patterns in the mahogany. This serpentine chest of four drawers with reeded top and canted sides. Raised on splayed bracket feet. This chest is an absolute stunner and completely original, Circa;1800’s. Very high quality. This kind of serpentine Georgian chests not so long ago traded for between £4-5000. Worth every penny, and in our opinion will start to rise again soon. There is no better-made chest of drawers ever made than these formal Georgian serpentine versions. 200 years old and still in showroom condition. How long will this chest of drawers last? Many more generations to come.
Condition; Very good original throughout, retains its superb shine.
Size; 36? x 42? x 22?
