Circa 1790. An exceptional quality large sized George III mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers. The top in well figured mahogany with a stylish moulded fore-edge, the front with four full length bow front graduating drawers, with original brass escutcheons, swan neck handles with stylish back-plates. The drawers are lined in mahogany (sign of quality) and beneath the bottom drawer there are several mouldings and the chest rests on stylish shaped bracket feet concealing the original lignum vitae castors.
