This classically tasteful king size Edwardian bed has all the familiarity of a classic straight rail bed with a few unique, special touches, making this an individual bed without being too �out there�! Lovely detail in decorative castings, with a delightful combination of round iron and square brass tube. Original brass caps, feet and central ball. All brass cleaned, polished and aged to give a lovely patina. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene�s Jack Black, waxed to preserve. All joints checked to ensure a good fit. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for mattress size 150cm x 200cm.
