William Affleck Born 1869.Genre and landscape painter in oil and watercolour.Born Rochdale,Lancashire.Studied art at South Kensington,Heatherleys,and the Lambeth School of Arts.Exhibited at the leading London galleries from 1890,chiefly at the RA(28)Walker Art Gallery Liverpool (40)Dudley and New Dudley Gallery(40)RI(28).Lived in London and was a member of the London Sketch Club. ‘ Garden with Herbaceous Border’ signed watercolour,image size 29x42 cms,framed size 47.5x62 cms.Housed in regilded period frame.
