Good Antique Heriz Carpet 350 X 244

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a very attractive hand woven woollen Heriz carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet has a tear drop shaped field with a large central medallion and deep flower filled borders. The colour palette is warm and dramatic with indigo, mid blue, ivory, warm red and gold all being employed. This fabulously warm and woolly carpet would add character and style to any living space.

It is in excellent condition throughout and will give years and years of service.

A good room size it measures 350 cms by 244 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
