A wonderful antique Qashqai rug, hand woven by the eponymous nomadic tribe circa 1910. The rug features an unusual curvilinear design on a rich terracotta field and deep blue border. Finely woven for a tribal piece and lovely wool quality.
Size: 2.20m x 1.51m (7ft 3in x 5ft)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a tiny area in one corner (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
