This is an honest five drawer , chest of drawers.
Four drawers have locks
No key available
Manufactured 1760-1820
Raised on bracket feet
Two top drawers
Three lower graduating drawers
The top left drawer had no lock
The oak has a rich patina, the drawers are all in honest condition.
At some point someone has tacked the joints, however have not removed these as I feel they provide and insight to the life and social history of this perfectly serviceable and practical chest of drawers.
