Antique Figured Walnut Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning antique figured walnut chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1900-1910 period.

It is of superb quality and is a useful size, with lots of storage space. There are gorgeous figured walnut grain patterns, this sits on cabriole legs with carving at the knees. It has a lovely serpentine shaped front, with a cross banded top and cross banded drawer fronts. The drawers have beautiful brass tear drop handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

Width – 28 inches , 71 cm

Depth – 18 inches , 46 cm

Height – 33 inches , 85 cm
