Description

An antique Kurdish Persian handwoven rug, approximately 5'11" x 3'3", dating from the early C20th. This rug with indigo coloured field with column of three medallions, spandrels, framed by multiple repeating borders. A hand knotted and supple rug, with soft pile and fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

A charming old rug, full of character and ready to use.

This rug measures approximately 182 cm long including fringes, and 105 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in fairly reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. Some losses to the ends and fringes. Some wear to the pile, one spot down to the foundations. Good even colour. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
