A charming small size walnut commode dating from the early 20th century. This beautifully shaped and inlaid chest has two oak lined drawers, rose coloured marble top and stands on elegant curved legs which terminate with ormolu decoration. The condition is excellent.
The marquetry is particularly eye catching, with a heart cleverly worked into the front upper drawer, also the geometrical designs on the sides creating impact.
A very attractive and versatile item whose proportions make it easy to place in any room.
