Very Rare Early Antique Heals Oak Chest of Drawers – Squashed Heart

Only a handful of this very rare early antique Heals oak chest of drawers was ever made. An early Ambrose Heal design, beautifully made in the best quality oak, still a fabulous, original colour. Featuring two short drawers over four long and graduating drawers, they all run very well, are lined in lovely chestnut and with the beautiful squashed heart shaped inset handles. In superb condition throughout and with an original mirror above the chest that is supported by columns. The sides of this rare Heals antique chest continue upwards beyond the chest top to form a galleried area. Stands well on shaped bracket plinth. A really special piece of Heals antique furniture, not had a squashed heart piece for a good number of years. Perfect for Valentines Day!
