Description

A semi-antique Turkmen Yomut, handwoven rug, approximately 6'10" x 4'1', dating from the early to mid C20th. This rug has a rich crimson coloured field filled with kepse guls, enclosed by repeating geometric borders. A supple, soft and silky, hand knotted rug, with kilim and fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

An attractive, quality rug, in a good condition and ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 208 cm long including fringes, and 125 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in a good condition, commensurate with its age. A small nick to one edge, approximately 1 cm in size, see pictures. 1 fringe a little worn. Both kilim ends and fringes are slightly age soiled. The pile is clean, with only a little wear. Vacuumed and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
